Hansa Therapeutic Flow is a unique body movement program that shifts the focus of yoga into a move scientific, therapeutic and practical avenue. As a teacher you will develop a greater understanding around what it is to “flow” and start to offer greater opportunities to support your students to appreciate their own natural flow patterns of body behaviour. Through this training, you will learn yoga therapeutic relationship to movement and understand that its not about postures but how you transition.

The program is based upon circular relationships or mandala like shapes that speak of geometrical patterns that support structure, stability, and fluidity. All movements starts at a seed form that honors the natural spirals we see in nature. We will explore the practice of yoga from a three dimensional concept that starts from understanding the inner form, or the seed that all movement arises from to its final embodiment within our physical realities.

Hansa Therapeutic Flow is about developing a more organic approach to practicing yoga and using our bodies.

You will learn :

1. Safe-effective sequencing: understanding how to arrange in a logial order a yoga practice for a 60-90 min class.
2. Working through Hansa Therapeutic Flow choreography ‘entering the stream’ and learning the reasons.
3. Understanding the principles of body movement.
4. Feedback on your practice and how to evolve.
5. Mandala geometry and its influence on rhythm, space, and circular shaping.
6. Developmental movement and its choreographic influence.
